Wallcraft, Inc was commissioned to duplicate and cast the original “Winged Genius” that was hand carved in 1500 BC. The original relief was located in the Theological College, in Virginia. The school agreed to sell the Winged Genius only if a replica could be made. The original piece was digitally scanned and a reverse mold was created (the pink image). Wall Craft casted three pieces before the concrete chemistry was perfected. Below is the finished reproduction.
